"From start to finish the folks at Frank Myers made the entire process of buying a vehicle a positive and pleasant one. From the friendly young salesman who greeted me on the parking lot and showed me several vehicles in 90-plus degree heat, to the sales and finance managers who worked with lenders to get me excellent financing on a nearly new vehicle, to the service manager who followed up my purchase with a call to tell me about my service and warranty coverage, each of the staff at Frank Myers was friendly, courteous, and professional and made me feel like a valued customer.

Usually buying a car is about as pleasant as a trip to the dentist, but I enjoyed interacting with the Frank Myers staff so much, I will never buy another vehicle elsewhere. This was my second purchase from them within three years, and my second experience was even more positive than the first. I live near Durham, but it was well worth the 150 mile roundtrip in my opinion. I would highly recommend Frank Myers to anyone interested in buying a car, and I will be a customer for life!"

"I got to tell you that my experience at Frank Myers Auto Maxx on was an experience that my family and me will never forget. I was without a vehicle because my car was totaled last year. When we arrived close to closig time, Keith came out and greeted us. There was one car we had in mind but I didn't purchase that one because I decided on another one. Keith then mentioned a couple of other cars and one of them was the 2009 Nissan Altima. That is the one that I drove off with that night. Travis told us that things can be worked out and it was. After talking and dealing with Travis and Keith, I must say that they know what they are doing. I am so happy to have visited Frank Myers Auto on that night. "We, like most people, are intimidated, when it comes to car shopping. We have been purchasing another car every 2 or 3 years, and this was our very first time shopping at Frank Myers Auto Maxx. When we drove into this dealership, they were waving us into a parking spot. We were approached by a really nice guy and he thanked us for coming in (WOW! A young man with manners. What a surprise). We felt right at home and got a good car that we had been shopping for and helped us with some good financing. Also know that this is a very energetic place with fun stuff going on and at times can be very loud and "over the top". My teenage son said it was like Las Vegas at a car dealership. LOL! So if you are looking for your mom and dads car dealership, this is not it."

"Last August my husband and I bought a 2004 Chrysler Van with almost 100,000 miles on it (from Frank Myers Auto Maxx). The next day I left for Texas for a month, the van gave me no trouble and 3 trips later it is still running great! Best deal we ever made!"

Problems and How To Handle Them

Uncle Frank Sez: "As Britney Spears once said...Oops, I did it again!"

I goofed. Actually, my team goofed but it's all the same difference. You see, when your family name is on the sign you are accountable REGARDLESS of who actually screws up. As much as it hurts me to admit it...YES...we are human and we make mistakes (just like the next guy). So here is the story:

I just got an email from our partners at Car Dealer Check. They were alerting me that someone had posted a review. Since most of our customers post really good reviews, I was excited to read who our newest "Fan" was. Boy, was I disappointed. Here is what I read -

"I bought a 2002 ford explorer back in Feb. The brakes were suppose to be replaced , but 2 weeks later they started grinding and not working properly.Now the explorer is sitting in my driveway and will not start....and I haveonly had it about 3months.. I was told I was getting a great vehicle but now after putting 3000 dollars down on it , I am wondering how am I gonna get to work tonight."

My heart sank. Luckily, I was still at the dealership and our Xtreme Satisfaction Team reached out to this unhappy customer in less than 10 minutes. Here is how they responded -

"I apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused you and I am here to make it right. It looks like your review was written at is 7ish and the Xtreme Satisfaction Team is still here at the dealership wanting to assist you. PLEASE call us direct so that we can get your Explorer to our service department and get your issue resolved. We want you to be driving your vehicle and enjoying it. We are here to help you do that! If you don't reach out to us tonight, please call our service dept starting at 7:30 tomorrow morning. Their direct number is 336*8310656. Once again, these things are never fun but we are committed to making you a believer in the Frank Myers Auto Maxx experience. We look forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you!"

So we are here waiting for dawatson41 to call or email us back so we can assist him. My challenge to other dealerships is to do the same. Be transparent. Encourage your customers to reach out to you (preferably by phone). I'll keep you posted.
- UPDATE - On May 12th at 3:59am, dawatson41 responded: "thanks so much for your reply, i will call first thing this morning after i get off work."
It was 12 noon and we had not heard from dawatson41 so...we reached out again with the email below.
"Just a quick reminder to PLEASE call a member of our Xtreme Satisfaction Team or our Service Department as soon as you can. We are here to assist you with your Explorer and to find a complete resolution. If you no longer need our help, please let me know. Thanks again and we look forward to hearing from you."
- UPDATE - It's 6:58pm on May 12th and we still haven't heard from dawatson41. We are still eager to assist him and will try again tomorrow.

"I am very happy with my experience at Frank Myers Auto Maxx. Tracy, Rich, John, Keith and all the others I worked with made sure I had all my questions answered and were ready to help. They all helped to take care of me. There was no pressure and no hassle. I was surprised to find this at a car dealership. When I didn't see the car I wanted, they told me it was in their service department and they brought it down and ready for me. It was in great shape and I loved it! When I picked up my license tag they remembered my name and greeted me with big smiles and a friendly handshake. Everyone asked me how I liked my new car. Very courteous and polite. Rich and the finance department were a little slow but that was understandable because of my shabby credit. They were still very easy to work with. All of the paperwork was clearly explained and Rich made sure I felt unpressured every step of the way. I like going back to Frank Myers Auto to get my car serviced and my oil changed. The coffee bar and free wi-fi are both nice touches in the waiting area. Thank you to everyone at Uncle Franks."

"My Isusu Rodeo finally kicked the bucket after 15+ years.It was bought new way before I was married and had kids. It has some sentimental value but my wife has been practically begging me to get us another car. So I caved in and went to Frank Myers AutoMaxx first. I had seen an FJ Cruiser on their website and i went to drive it. This was a very surprising day of buying a new car. Smiling salespeople that seemed to really care. Extra nice cars with a free warranty on every car. I LOVED the arcade and the popcorn. It was a good time and I feel that I made some new friends. I will go back there the next time I need a car and tell all of my friends and family about this place.‎"
